1st Amendment
I promise to protect everyone’s 1st Amendment rights, whether we agree or not. I believe in freedom of speech for all and the freedom to practice your religion how you see fit without government interference.
Agenda

Protect the 14th Amendment, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 from any attacks that an authoritarian administration could possibly launch at them. These are critical extensions of the 1st amendment, codifying in law citizenship and voting rights for African-Americans.

Protect the 19th Amendment and voting rights for women if attacks on them come in any form. I will not allow anyone to weaken your right to have a say in how you are governed.

I will stand against anyone trying to limit the free expression of LGBTQ+ people.

Put a cap on PAC money, and require complete transparency about their donors, so the American people can know who’s funding elections.

I promise not to take money from corporate PACs or any corporate interests. The Supreme Court would have you believe your voice matters less just because you don’t run a Fortune 500 company. That is the opposite of what our Founding Fathers intended and I'd like to correct it.

Ban gerrymandering at the federal level so that everyone has an equal say when it comes time to vote.
