Labor and Farming

I’ve seen families do everything right and still struggle to pay the bills. In recent years, the cost of living has risen faster than wages, distorting markets and putting pressure on our communities. As a small business owner, I understand how hard it can be to keep a business running while trying to make ends meet. I’ve seen firsthand how unbalanced policies hurt local workers, small businesses, and farmers. Agriculture, one of the most important industries in our district, has been squeezed by monopolies that control the inputs farmers must buy and the markets where they must sell. We need policies that strengthen our workforce, prioritize livable wages, and enforce antitrust laws so monopolies can no longer rig the system against the American people.
